Frank Rodriguez, MD
Dr. Rodriguez is a medical oncologist and hematologist with Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Lee County.
Dr. Rodriguez believes that oncology is getting better every day, thanks to the ongoing active research that continues to accelerate improvements in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. He values the human connection that occurs between patients, physicians and their clinical care team, which combine to make FCS an effective cancer care center.
Dr. Rodriguez is a strong advocate of clinical research and participates in the large array of trials that are available at FCS.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, Dr. Rodriguez completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and served as chief resident at the Miami VA Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of South Florida H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified in medical oncology/hematology and internal medicine. He joined FCS in 2008.

Dr. Frank Rodriguez is able to help patients embrace their fear and replace it with information and hope, to achieve their personal goals.
