Michael Scott, MD, MBA
Dr. Michael Scott is a Radiation Oncologist for Florida Cancer Specialist and Research Institute in Tampa. He received his B.S.E. degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University located in Durham, NC, and attended medical and graduate school at the University of Florida (UF), Gainesville, FL. In 2011, Dr. Scott graduated from UF with his Medical degree and Masters in Business Administration. Subsequently, he relocated to Miami, Florida and completed his Residency at the University of Miami (UM) Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center/Jackson Memorial Hospital and was awarded Chief Resident. Dr. Scott is a board-certified radiation oncologist by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and has been published in several peer reviewed journals. Currently, he is a member of American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO), American College of Radiation (ACR), Florida Radiological Society (FRS) and the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (ASTRO). In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis, golf and traveling. Also, Dr. Scott is fluent in both English and Spanish to better serve the Hillsborough County community.
